Return and Replacement Policy

We do our best to make you satisfied with our service. The service of possible refund or exchange of the artwork you do not like was made exactly for this purpose. But in any case the process of returning and exchanging of the artwork is an unpleasant fact both for us and for you because in case of refund you will have to return us the total sum of the original shipping cost and you will have to pay the delivery cost from you to us (back). In case of exchange you will have to pay in addition the delivery cost of the exchanged artwork. In both cases you will have to pay escrow fees if you are using the service of escrow company.

Therefore we recommend you to select the artworks you want to buy precisely, requesting maximum information on each artwork as well as big size photos of each artwork you are interested in before the bargain!

Also you have to know that hues of your monitor may differ from the hues of the original artworks. We recommend you to calibrate your monitor settings before you make decision to order any of the artworks!

If you are using the escrow service of the Escrow.com company, then the return and replacement policy is based on the principles of work of this escrow company.

If you are in direct association with our gallery then you can make a complete refund or replacement of the artwork you do not like for any other(s) if you have refunded us the total sum of the original shipping cost.

If you purchased the artwork directly from the Russian Paintings gallery without using the escrow services, then you can make refund for the artwork you do not like or freely exchange it to any other during 5 days after delivery of the artwork to you.

To make refund

- inform us via e-mail about your decision to return the purchased artwork indicating the reason for that;

- after receiving our answer with instructions*, carefully pack the artwork in its initial packing and send it back to us (it is better if you will use the service of any authorized delivery company like DHL);

- after receiving of the rejected artwork we will check its integrity;

- we will return you your initial payment excluding the original shipping cost.

To exchange the artwork you don't like:

- inform us via e-mail about your decision to return the purchased artwork and exchange it to the other one;

- after receiving our answer with instructions*, carefully pack the artwork in its initial packing and send it back to us (it is better if you will use the service of any authorized delivery company like DHL);

- after receiving of the rejected artwork we will check its integrity and tell you the sum to be paid to clear the difference in prices (if any) and shipping charges for the new artwork**;

- transfer the total sum (difference in prices between the artworks and shipping cost of the new artwork) to our bank account;

- we will send you the new artwork.

If you purchased the artwork from the Russian Paintings gallery with using the escrow service, then you can make refund for the artwork you do not like or freely exchange it to any other during the inspection period specified in the agreement between you and the Russian Painings gallery on escrow service's site.

To make refund

- reject the purchased artwork on Escrow.com site before the expiration of the inspection period;

- inform us via e-mail about your decision to return the purchased artwork indicating the reason for that;

- after receiving our answer with instructions*, carefully pack the artwork in its initial packing and send it back to us (it is better if you will use the service of any authorized delivery company like DHL);

- after receiving of the rejected artwork we will check its integrity and confirm the 'Sent back merchandise' agreement on escrow company's site;

- Escrow company returns you your initial payment excluding escrow fees and the original shipping cost.

To exchange the artwork you don't like:

- reject the purchased artwork on Escrow.com site before the expiration of the inspection period;

- inform us via e-mail about your decision to exchange the purchased artwork indicating the reason for that;

- after receiving our answer with instructions*, carefully pack the artwork in its initial packing and send it back to us (it is better if you will use the service of any authorized delivery company like DHL);

- after receiving of the rejected artwork we will check its integrity and submit the sum to be paid to clear the differences in prices (if any) and shipping charges for the new artwork** on escrow company's site;

- transfer the total sum (difference in prices between the artworks and shipping cost of the new artwork) to the escrow company's bank account;

- we will send you the new artwork;

- you will receive the artwork and accept it on the site of the involved escrow company before the expiration of the inspection period.

*) The letter contains instructions on the appropriate registration of the artwork to pass the customs, and also, in case of the exchange, cost of the new artwork.

**) The sum of a surcharge can be both positive and negative. In the latter case we (or escrow company) will compensate the specified sum by transferring it to your bank account (the bank transfer fees will be excluded from the refund sum).
